Tuesday, the BCHS softball team continued their ambitious non-region schedule as they traveled to Cordele to face Crisp County. A big seventh inning got the Lady Royals their second straight win verus an AAA team.

Bleckley and Crisp traded single runs over the first two innings. Lana Maddox's single put BC on top in the fourth.

A bloop single by Crisp in their half of the inning tied the game. Lindsey Dabbs would again put the Lady Royals on top in the fifth with her single.
Chelce Yearty fields a bunt.
Crisp tied the game in the bottom of the sixth. Three BC runs in the top of the seventh put them on top. The Lady Cougars loaded the bases with two outs in the bottom of the seventh when umpires stopped play due to rain. Due to the weather, the game was called as Bleckley won 6-3.

Both SunnyKate Darsey and Chelce Yearty went 2 for 4 with a double. Lana Maddox was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI. The Lady Royals begin play in the International City Brawl Wednesday when they play GMC. Game time is 4:30 pm at Veterans High School
