Macedonia Baptist made plays like this in their win versus FBC1.

For the first time in recent history, the post-season church softball tournament's home is the Cochran-Bleckley Rec. Department.

A Bethany player camps under a deep fly. Bethany won 8-0.

With action on two fields, it helped keep games running on time. The central location also meant no more long drives between Ruth and Limeston Baptist (the two churches with fields.)

House of Grace 3 made plays like this in their win versus Ruth.

Eight games were played Friday evening. In a battle of teams from the same church, House of Grace team two beat team one 11-0. Macedonia Baptist Church edged First Bapitst team one 7-5.

Chris Dubois signals "safe" as Kaitlynn Darsey's slide knocked the ball out of the hand of the New Life player.

HoG 3 won a defensive battle with Ruth Baptist 2-0. Bethany Baptist Church shut out Cochran Church of the Nazerine 8-0. FBC2 scored late runs to get past New Life Church of God team one 12-10. Limestone Baptist won versus NLCOG 2 4-0.

This reception at second was part of a double play Limestone Baptist turned in the seventh inning as part of their win against New Life Church of God 2.

In the final games of the evening, St. Pauls Baptist Church won against Faith Baptist 8-3 and Mt. Calvary Baptist won against Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church 9-3.

Though Roy Veal is no longer in the backfield for the Royals, he's still very active. Friday, he helped St. Pauls Baptist Church win.

Action begins Saturday at 7 am.

Greg Woodard tries to make sure his throw beats a hustling Empire player to third. Mt. Calvary won this contest.
