Bryant Trice goes head-first into third base versus Johnson County.

Saturday's Diamond Day baseball games didn't help BCMS in the standings. Johnson County isn't part of the MGMSAA and the East Laurens contest didn't count. What they did do was allow the Barons to flex their offensive muscles as they put 35 runs on the board in two games.

Against Johnson County, eight runs in the first two innings erased an early 1-0 deficit. JoCo got one more in the third. Bleckley answered with four as the Barons run-ruled the Trojans 12-2.

BC, playing as visitor against East Laurens, sent 15 men to the plate as part of a 12-run top of the first. ELMS scored twice in the home half of the inning. A four-run second and seven runs in the fourth powered the Barons to an easy 23-2 win.
