Royal Kingsmen celebrate year.

The Royal Kingsmen Band had another busy year which included supporting the football team as well as performing at Georgia Tech. Thursday, the year was celebrated at the annual awards banquet.

Micah Songer receives the Outstanding Rookie (Percussion/Wind) award. Songer plays the cymbols.


Senior band members and dazzlers were given awards. Outstanding awards were also presented. Outstanding Rookie Dazzler: Destinee Poole. Outstanding Rookie Wind or Percussion: Micah Songer. Most Valuable Perfomer (Dazzlers) Kayla Dykes. Most Valuable Perfomer (Wind or Percussion) Collin Bates.

Outstanding Spirit/Fundraising Award: Ashland Scarboro and Kaitlan Allen. Outstanding Leadership Award: Lee Lister. Congratulations to all the award winners.
